Drive Adoption – These campaigns are focused on attracting new customers to your stores.
Drive Engagement – These campaigns are focused on driving the customer behaviours that are more valuable to your business e.g. in terms of spend and frequency.
Drive Retention – It’s far easier to retain an existing customer than it is to win a new one. Retain campaigns help you reward loyal customers so they keep coming back and win back those that are slipping away.

A. Customer Spend

This campaign is based on customer spending habits and frequency to earn rewards. Below are different options based on what the client would like to achieve.
- Customer Spend Per Customer:
Each customer has their own loyalty points balance. Only that customer's eligible transactions earn loyalty points. When the customer loyalty balance reaches the required number of points, a reward is triggered.
Types of Customer Spend types:
- For every x you earn a fixed number of points:
Customers who spend a specified value will for every value spent earn a fixed number of loyalty points.
Example: for every R10 spent, earn 2 loyalty points.
- Spend Between & Earn a fixed number of points
Customers who spend between a bracket value, will earn a fixed number of loyalty points.
Example: spend between R50 and R100 and earn 5 loyalty points.
- Spend between and earn a percentage of your basket points
Customers who spend between a bracket value, will earn a percentage of their basket total in loyalty points.
Example: spend between R50 and R100 and earn 5% of your basket total in loyalty points.
- Spend more than and earn a fixed number of points
Customers who spend more than a specified minimum value, will earn a fixed number of loyalty points.
Example: spend more than R50 and earn 5 loyalty points.
- Spend more than and earn a percentage of your basket point
Customers who spend more than a specified minimum value, will earn a percentage of their basket total in loyalty points.
Example: spend more than R50 and earn 5% of your basket total in loyalty points.
- Customer Spend Per Store:
Each store has a loyalty points balance. All eligible transactions in that store, for each and every loyalty customer, earn loyalty points. When the store's loyalty balance reaches the required number of points, a reward is triggered. The customer whose transaction is responsible for reaching a trigger will receive a reward.

D. Random Distribution
Transact Randomly and Receive rewards
Also known as the Surprise and Delight campaign.
When a customer transacts in a participating store, a random number between 0 and 1 is generated. Rewards are triggered based on probability. Multiple rewards can be specified.
Note: All rewards issued has to be calculated in fractions:
For Example, if the reward probability is set to:
Get a free coffee = 1 / 2 = 0 to 0.5 = 50% chance that a customer will get a free coffee voucher
Get R20 Voucher = 1 / 4 = 0.51 to 0.76 = 25% chance that a customer will get R20 Voucher
The remaining 1 / 4 = 0.76 to 1.0 = 25% chance that a customer will get NOTHING
A customer's transaction generates a random number of 0.69 which is between 0.51 to 0.75. The customer is rewarded with R20 Voucher.
E. On Demand
Per Customer
Per Customer on Demand
Each customer has their own loyalty points balance. Only that customer's eligible transactions earn loyalty points. When the customer loyalty balance reaches the required number of points, a reward is triggered
Earn & Demand
Loyalty points will be calculated on an external system and pushed to loyalty service on an demand basis
