Overview
This article is to assist you with installing the SnapScan QR code at the bottom of the guest checks on the Micros system.
You can load this at all your stores. If the stores have any issues they can contact Chris Bishop, but the stores should first ensure that they received the below information in an email from him and that Wi-group is installed on all workstations in the store.
The process is quick and easy.
- Install the application (Instructions to install are below and in the attachment)
- Open any table after installation and “Print check” as if you were going to present the check to the guest.
- Check if the QR code displays at the bottom of the guest check.
When the QR code prints successfully, please can you e-mail Andrea Kline and let her know all is okay.
Please remember, if your store already has Zapper installed, we need to remove the Zapper device at the back of the printer.
You can do this yourselves, but if you don’t feel comfortable with this, please let Zapper know they need to come collect the device. Please keep this device for Zapper.
If you don’t receive emails on the Micros server, then please copy the attachment in this article to the Micros server, and then open the attachment on the Micros server and follow the same instructions as below.
